AlNiCo

Well, I have gone and ordered a pair of Shindo Petite Latour speakers. I couldn’t afford the field coil versions, so AlNiCo it is for me. Ordered in the amazing Pau Ferro finish.

I will be curious to see the driver complement when they arrive. I have seen Altec 414s and 32A horns with I think an 806 compression driver… but I could get something else.

I have no fear, as I have never been disappointed with Shindo, and know that whatever I receive will be in keeping with the system. My power amps will be able to breathe properly! The Petite Latours are about 100dB as far as sensitivity goes and have an impedance of 16Ω, so very easy to drive.
