I needed a streaming solution for the office system, and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money.

The little Yamaha WXAD-10 was just the thing. Small and functional. Definitely not the last word in resolution or anything like that, but it doesn’t matter too much. It works and sounds not too bad at all.

Only has analogue outputs, so no opportunity to hook it up to an external dac, but I’m not too worried about that for this system.

Connected it wirelessly to my network, it does have provision to be hardwired, but if it works as it is, why complicate it!

The app is pretty good, I can use Spotify or Tidal, or Deezer if I wanted to, as well as internet radio and music from the server.
