The first experience I had with the Swedish brand Sentec was a line stage preamp, connected to some locally made power amps. It was a really nice, so when the Sentec EQ10 came up on my radar I was interested. By the time I had the right gear and understanding to make use of the EQ10, it was discontinued. By chance I was looking at a Swedish buy/sell/trade type site and came across someone selling the newer EQ11. Unfortunately for me, the seller would only ship locally, so I enlisted the help of an audio industry buddy who happens to live in Stockholm to go and pick it up and send it to me. It’s a nice compact unit, with a substantial wall wart type power supply. I have thought of building a fancier power supply, but this works as intended and is perfectly fine. Who am I to second guess the designer!
I currently have a set of GE USN-12AT7WB tubes in it.

I thought I would post up this review of the Sentec EQ11 phono preamplifier . You don’t hear much about it, despite it being a great and versatile phono preamp. Herb Reichert is a pretty eloquent dude and he does a nice job putting his thoughts into words.
