Shuffling

I decided to have a separate tape system using my Nakamichi, Leben and Falcons. The reasons are two fold. It allows me to utilise the tape loop in my Leben CS300F to record stuff from the TV or Tidal on to tape, and it also cleared a bit of space in my main system so I could sort of declutter that area.

I’ve been really impressed with the Leben/Falcon set up. It is extremely satisfying, and one I could definitely live with exclusively if I had to. I connected my Oppo BDP-105 to use as a source for Tidal and it has been great.

The speaker stands I am using are some old modified Chario ones I had lying around. Until I can be bothered spending money on something new and esoteric, these will do. I had some Herbies Big Fat Dots to use between the speakers and the stands, so I put them in there as well.

Cabling in this set up is DNM, a Belden 8402/Switchcraft DIY thing, and also a Kondo KSL-Vc interconnect.

I also decided to use the new Acoustic Revive magic crystal platform under the Leben, just because I could.

It’s a really cool set up.
