4PR

I found some Kimber 4PR speaker cable I had lying around that I had bought to use in a DIY power cable project that I never got around to doing, so I thought I might as well make up a pair of speaker cables.

Many years ago I used the Select KS-3035 speaker cables and some of their Select KS-1036 silver interconnects and they were great, so I thought it might be interesting to try the lowly 4PR.

I bought some Kimber Postmaster spades to terminate it with. These are really nice spades! Much larger than I was expecting actually. They have a sandwich type construction that will ensure an excellent connection on the binding posts of the amp and speakers. An hour or so soldering and they were done.

A successful operation and they will be another set of cable I can use with my Leben/Falcon/Omega system, just for a change of flavour now and then.
