Noce Forte

I picked up a new headshell from Simone Luchetti at Audio Silente, one of his wooden ones.

He says: “The headshell is cnc machined from a block of a seasoned Italian walnut. Every piece is then sanded smooth before beeswax polishing. As a final step a circle is burned into the back and a tricolor flag painted by hand. We fit a gold plated brass collar housing a machine screw for an easy set-up of the azimuth and a 24k gold plated brass lift.

The electric signal is carried by our renowned eia connector, already adopted by numerous companies worldwide as a standard, that uses teflon insulated silver plated ofc copper wires and female clips made from phosphorus bronze to our own specifications. The clips accept pins with a diameter ranging from 1.16 to 1.23 millimeters.

Weight  is 10.5 grams.”

I’ll use it with something on my Technics. Not sure what yet, but I am thinking my Grace F9e would do well on it, or maybe the Hana.
