I finally got hold of some Belden 9497 speaker wire. This is nice basic stuff, but with great cachet in that many high end designers use it internally in their speakers. John DeVore uses it in his speakers, and my Shindos are wired with it as well. I like the simplicity of it.

I cut a pair of 2.5m cables and terminated them with low mass Z-plugs. Then to make it look a bit nicer I covered them in a cotton sleeve that I dyed blue, just for a change.

They’re on the Leak/Falcon set up and have had about 5 minutes to run… so no opinions other than music seems to be coming from the speakers, which I guess is a good thing.
